The Division of Coastal Engineering (DCE) constructs and monitors various shore protection projects along the coast of NJ. The use of sUAS (drones) to obtain aerial photos and videos and produce orthomosaics and point clouds would greatly enhance DCEs ability to monitor projects pre/during/post- construction, strengthen litigation cases, and provide stock photos for various coastal resilience efforts, etc.
