Roadmap for improved visibility and collaboration in DEP-funded projects

Description

This project record represents the need for a roadmap of all the specific IT projects envisioned, prioritized and justified in pursuit of improvements to awareness, engagement, impact and responsiveness/alignment to community needs of DEP-funded projects. This project will produce the roadmap of necessary endeavors, activities, and projects with sequence, timing or staging as can be anticipated. Other project records will detail each specific IT project and associated deliverables.

Problem Statement

The diverse but independently focused perspectives and means by which the DEP enables and funds projects almost certainly misses many opportunities to 1.) leverage related projects for benefits beyond a sum of their parts and 2.) gain insights that would maximize alignment of funding with community priorities and needs. Presently there is no means or plan for how best to make improvements nor any complete picture or accounting of all the projects empowered by many different funding sources across multiple programs and mechanisms.

Project Justification

There is explicitly expressed interest in at least AO's 2022-12 and 2023-08, and implicitly in EJ objectives and DEP goals more broadly in improving awareness, engagement and collaboration among stakeholders in DEP-funded projects.
