Field Office and Event in-person sales of Fishing/Hunting Licenses
Description
Review current process and equipment used for Pequest and across third parties to evaluate the needs for enabling in-person sales elsewhere. Confirm any added expectations for enabling parks with large fishing demands. Review plans for future events at which mobile sales will be desired. Review current contract with Aspira related to field office and mobile sales to select and purchase (or rent via contract) the optimal equipment for the desired scope of locations and uses.
Project Justification
Significant customer segments remain interested in in-person transactions while at a location or event. In particular, the free Veteran license is currently more simple to qualify for in-person, than online which requires a mail-in component. While standard online sales are robust and third parties offer licenses, there is an expectation by the public to be able to make a purchase while at our offices. This may need some cross-checking with Parks to see if certain park office locations should be included in any plan to enable in-person sales.
