ONLM staff are interested in using tablets for field mapping and data entry, to supplement or replace paper or pdf Rare Species Reporting Forms. The goal is to test a system to more seamlessly input text data and GIS points and shapefiles into our documentation software and digital archival systems.
Problem Statement
Field data collection (rare species) is cumbersome with manual steps post-collection from paper or PDFs.
