NJEMS Reporting Database/NJEMS Performance

Description

  • Can’t move to VMs due to Oracle Licensing.  Maybe get new individual servers for DBs

  • Report DB $100K extra/yr in Oracle Licensing Cost

  • Options:

    • Option 1 - Move data to postgress DB and report off that BUT BO can’t report off of postgress

    • Option 2 - New servers for NJEMS Prod/NJEMSDev/DataGuard, then report off of Dataguard DB

  • Kurt J. Reaching out to NJOIT for costs for Option 2

  • Michele Z. sent updated server diagram

  • Met with Pete T. on 12/11 to discuss.  Pete would like to see a ‘future state’ plan/diagram.

  • Need Kurt/Julie L. to come up with a plan and then regroup
