[SPOTMOD] Primary stream usage in Multi CH View (FREEZING AND SLUGGISH SYMPTOM)
Description
This is a common complaint in the field.
DW-HDSPOTMOD16: 1.6.0.8
Environment:
-
Number of VMAX Channels: 2 (1 Analog A1, 1 IP)
-
Number of Spectrum RTSP Streams: 14 with logical ID.
-
Camera Stream Configuration:
-
Main Stream Bitrate: 5 Mbps
-
Sub-Stream Bitrate: ~214 Kbps (lowest resolution)

-
Example RTSP URLs:
-
rtsp://192.168.96.193:7001/1?stream=0(Main stream) -
rtsp://192.168.96.193:7001/1?stream=1(Sub stream)

Observed Behavior:
-
Total bandwidth usage by Spot Module does not exceed 80 Mbps.
-
CPU usage does not exceed 20%
-
Single-channel view functions correctly with no observed issues.
-
In multi-channel view:
-
Some cameras correctly utilize the sub-stream.
-
Other cameras unexpectedly continue to use the main stream, causing freezing and sluggish view.
