DEP Conference Room Standard quick-connect solution
Description
This project will research and confirm problems, find and test solutions and recommend a single standard solution for use in all conference rooms, starting with 401 but expandable to all office confernce rooms for a high quality common experience.
Problem Statement
Conference rooms in DEP cannot be reliably and quickly connected to support meetings with a screen for in-room or remote participants. There are too many options and points of failure to frustrate the average users who don't and should be expected to arrive early to ensure the set-up. Issues include: confirming devices are powered/turned on (mini PC, monitor, remote keyboard, mouse). Using the correct input/connection. Logging in to a local PC (new users have to wait for new setup, and local memory may be overloaded from too many profiles. Other problems may also come up.
