NJDEP Climate Change Lead by Example Efforts Story Map
Description
This story map will serve as a public-facing tracking mechanism, highlighting the efforts that the DEP is taking to "Lead by Example", including completing energy audits at DEP-owned and leased buildings, making energy efficiency-related upgrades to our buildings, making investments in clean transportation including electrifying the DEP fleet and installing EV charging infrastructure, and the deployment of renewable energy, such as solar PV at DEP facilities.
Problem Statement

Project Justification
As mandated by Administrative Order, the DEP shall inventory and analyze its owned and administered assets, develop policies and provide technical support concerning emissions reductions planning and projects, and assist in the deployment of clean energy systems across all assets. This story map will serve as a public-facing tracking mechanism and promotional tool to display the efforts that DEP is actively pursuing.
