Problem Statement
The Bureau of Pesticide Control Enforcement needs assistance from DOIT in updating enforcement templates and in understanding the Letter Builder process.
Project Justification
Besides the need for these specific pesticide template edits, there are other programs asking me to get assistance for them to address template modifications. I want to enhance WRM's expertise in this area so they can manage edits independently, involving DOIT only for complex issues. To achieve this, I propose having two representatives from each WRM Division participate in sessions or email coordination with DOIT for this project. Although each case is unique, staff can learn significantly by observing meetings or email exchanges with DOIT about template modifications and then hopefully begin applying what is learned to their own program.

Mike McCormack and Sam will work with WRM LTC and WQ and Pesticides to set up the hands-on learning sessions with pesticides and water enforcement groups. These sessions are intended to enable these programs to be self-sufficient in developing/maintaining their areas NJEMS library templates for inspections/corrective actions/etc., as well as their LetterBuilder templates/functions. Going forward, it will be their responsibility to identify and assign staff to update/maintain these, or work with other WRM NJEMS technical resources to do so.
If DOIT is okay with me designating 2 reps from each Division to sit in on these sessions, please let me know so I can get the correct people identified. I think this is the best way to get WRM staff up to speed on Letter Builder Template modifications.
