1. Spawn Polaris into hanger using hanger asop terminal
2. enter polaris and flight ready ship
3. interact with torpedo console on cargo deck
4. HUD in upper left corner shows incorrect amount of ammo
5. enter remote turret, shows incorrect amount of ammo
6. when looking at console upper left hud shows all 4 torpedo tubes selected, using middle mousewheel the 4 highlighted torpedo tubes dissapear
7. when you fire in either remote turret or just console view, it sometimes only fires from one tube, or all 4 tubes as expected
8. sometimes it only fires 4 torpedos, sometimes it shows 2 tubes selected and fires all 8, sometimes it will not let you fire any

What happened

does not reliably or predictably fire normally. Often the highlighted tubes show varying selections after different ship spawns. sometimes it only shows one tube selected and after using middlemouswheel to change it it changes to a different single tube selected. sometimes it selects or shows all 4 tubes selected sometimes it shows no tubes selected, but every time it only allows you to change the selected tubes state one time, meaning only two different tube states are selectable. does not show ammo correctly.

What should have happened

the correct ammo count should show correctly. You should be able to select one tube at a time rotating thru all 4 tubes. you should also be able to select all 4 tubes at the same time. you should be able to select two tubes either on starboard or portside. you should be able to fire reliably which does not allways work

Workaround

no work around was found. when another player makes an attempt they have the same tube and ammo selection as original user. every time ship is respawned the selections and behavior changes. it is roll of dice if you can select any tubes or 1 tube or two tubes on either side or all 4 tubes. firing changes too
