Currently, Simple Search gadgets are not able to be added to Shared Dashboards. This limitation is for security reasons - we do not want unauthorized users to be able to see values for fields that aren’t included in the chart.

As a solution, we will be adding a specific Simple Search setup for Shared Dashboards that allows users to only use JQL or Saved Filter toggles, and restricts addition of other fields.

This functionality will be added in Shared Dashboards in Jira Cloud first, and then added to User Impersonated charts following.
