AGO Map for Estuarine Monitoring Program
Description
The Leeds Point facility maintains several MS Access databases (one of which is a Nutrients db) . One of the customized features of this database application is an ‘export results’ and ‘export station locations’ button. When hitting these two buttons the database generates two .csv files. One file represents the phytoplankton results formatted in a specific structure. The second file represents the locational data (site locations). These structures will not change.
The main concept of the project is to identify a BGIS server location for Marine Water Monitoring to continuously upload and overwrite these (3) pairs of .csv files as the bureau receives new data in their database. Then BGIS will run some type of builder process on those files on a nightly basis so that its constantly rebuilding itself with up to date information. Recreating station layer for Nutrients and the Nutrient result table. We expect to leverage exact same concept used for the Phytoplankton AGO project.
