Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in State Parks
Description
The State Park Service is looking to partner with entities that will sponsor electric vehicle charging stations and work with the SPS to build out the infrastructure for Electric Vehicle Service Equipment as part of the State initiative "The New Jersey Partnership to Plug-In"

Project Justification
State Parks are an important destination for recreation for citizens of and visitors to the State of NJ They are a major part of tourism economy in NJ. Providing opportunities to alleviate issues of range anxiety as well as a way to incentivize the uptake of electric vehicles is part of NJ's efforts of the NJ Partnership to Plug In.

EV charging stations are operational with continued maintenance. Additional stations will be added in the future.
The Office of Resource Development has a contractor install Chargepoint EV stations at the following State Park Service locations.
Round Valley Recreation Area (L2, complete)
Cheesequake State Park (L2, complete)
Batsto Village Historic Site (L2, complete)
Additional locations to be completed by the end of the year are:
High Point State Park (L2)
Waywayanda State Park (L2)
Liberty State Park (L1 & L2)
Charging stations are currently providing charge sessions for free. SPFHS management is working with DEP Management & Budget to establish a fee schedule for charge sessions.
