DCE Website Revamp
Description
DCE would like to revise the website to better display the great achievements our staff has been able to accomplish. These range from the renourishing of vulnerable beaches to construction of seawalls, to the marking of the State waterways and operation of the Keansburg Floodgate. Most of DCE’s current website is text based, which while informative, does not give a lot of punch to it. A remodeled website featuring more construction-based photographs, more prominent areas to inquire as to the happenings of DCE, and a general better presentation of our works is in great need. DCE would like to appoint a staff person devoted to implementing the change with the help of DOIT. We would also like to add more functions to the website including a contractor’s portal (which may or may not link to the NJStart Platform, should it be implemented) and provide a more formal application for Shore Protection funds requests that will tie in to the DSS development.
