Forest Fire submits purchase order for Geographic Information System service contract (19-TELE-00874)– “Fireshed and Shared Stewardship Planning” (FSSP) Tool as addition to the NJWRAP project.
New Jersey Forest Fire Service wishes to engage the services of Timmons Group (19-TELE-00874) to develop additional/supplemental tools within NJ Wildfire Risk Assessment Portal (NJWRAP) to streamline shared stewardship across boundaries for increased awareness. State stakeholders will collectively assess priorities before making investments on the landscape, to help leverage land management resource investments to achieve greater returns on investment and reduced risk.
The goals of the FSSP Tool will serve as a guide to improve overall forest conditions and enhance wildfire resiliency across the States’ complex jurisdictional landscape of intermixed public and private lands.
