EJ reports/tracking to replace excel manual updates (CGI rec 4.9)

Description

This project is meant to produce some reporting of uncertain specificity but at least to replace current bi-weekly manual tracking. There is envisioned a broader need for an internal dashboard of programmatic receipt and decision making around potential EJ-rule subject applications. These needs are captured in CGI EJ recommendations document of May 20, 2022, items 4.9 & 4.10 and are also summarized in the attached spreadsheet of recommendations to action 6-27-22.

Project Justification

To know what potential EJ applications programs have received, have sent to OPPN and have pending requires manually updating a shared spreadsheet every 2 weeks. This is time consuming and is always outdated, up to 2 weeks.

Ryan Carter confirmed the main goal was to get off the excel spreadsheet used previously and that has been accomplished. A series of basic Webi Reports exist for program use. OPPN was briefed on the potential for new reports, installing reports within NJEMS and making use of NJEMS Activity Tracking features, specifically Task Summary.

Project as first conceived is considered complete.

meeting 11/15 with Dave P. , Elaine DeWan, Mike Matsko, Vaughn Smith, Ryan Carter. There was agreement that we could transition from the current spreadsheet to live reporting. Ryan will be lead on updates to reporting design requests to Mike/Vaugh. Elaine offered to support a data entry effort to put all historic records from the spreadsheet into NJEMS at some point when programs are committed to all entry in NJEMS. Dave requested programs do this in email 11/22 with new NJEMS SOP (attached).

At 10/31/22 bi-weekly EJ check in, we recognized the recent direction from OPPN to all programs to begin using the existing EJ tasks in NJEMS for tracking the receipt and referral to OPPN of all potential EJ-subject applications. This opens up the ability to design reporting or a dashboard of reports from this data, including the replacement of the manual bi-weekly spreadsheet. Knute to call a meeting of players to share this potential and clarify what would be needed from OPPN.
