Description
RSP service for inventory entry and modification, supported by a database where DEP staff can review and report on this data as required by NJAC 7:27-34 MOBILE CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT AT PORTS AND INTERMODAL RAIL YARDS
Project Justification
The request is for a RSP module for inventory entry and modification, supported by a database where DEP staff can review and report on this data. The recommended solution is a web-based portal and supporting database. This solution will allow for secure and verified submissions, that can be updated easily with the most up-to-date information that resides with the DEP. The other solution is to use Excel spreadsheets that can be submitted through email. This solution is not as secure as a spreadsheet can be corrupted through reuse. Also, this method would put an onus on DEP to provide up-to-date information which could be labor intensive.

Initial Registration rolled out into production 8/6/2024. Annual registration update service is in prod, but hidden pending full rollout.
Setting up a meeting appointment to discuss Air/DOIT DPAF/billing/funding coordination for this project.

AEMS contracting directly with ARInspect through T-3121 to sub to CGI to build this due to CGI contract ceiling capacity.
To build this, we will be hitting limits of CGI contract (cost estimate of $369k, but about $70k available under contract). Upcoming meetings to consider options, including possibly the program kicking in funds and/or subbing through ARInspect. We also discussed with Pete and Nicole what room may exist to limit the scope and whether the program was unconstrained during all JAD work. IT sheet does not hint at costly elements.
