SPF&HS Website Migration to WordPress
Description
DoIT has mandated that the Dept. websites move to WordPress (Content Management System). The SPFHS program encompass ~500 webpages that would need to be converted to WordPress. Upon review of staff resources to accomplish this task it has been determined that contracting this work would be the most efficient way to address the task.
Project Justification
What documented evidence exists to support doing this project?
SPFHS will be able to more efficiently update webpages and be able to leverage the templating that has been standardized by the Dept. Once converted to WordPress, maintenance and updating of content will be easier and take less time than with the current process of editing HTML. There are limited existing resources amongst staff in OCIE to carry out this work.
