Forked River State Marina Security Cameras

Description

See also section 12. The desired deliverable is a security system that allows for the coverage of the main entrance to the marina in a way that all vehicular and most pedestrian traffic is able to be observed and recorded. The recording should be able to provide up to 30 day of recording capability. Recording should be able to see most license plates under both day and night conditions. Automate Licenser Plate Reading is not being required.

Remote access to the video feed is also desired as well as a monitor in the administration office that can provide a live feed from the camera(s).

Problem Statement

We permit dry storage parking for boats on trailers at Forked River State Marina and request for a camera to be placed on the main building to capture vehicles entering and leaving the marina. We have had three incidents with property being stollen or vandalized while on location at the marina. The camera would need to be able to clearly identify license plates.

Project Justification

None

Estimated Transactions

In the past two years we have had one jet ski trailer stolen from state property, a winch stolen off a trailer and another trailer stolen. All incidents were reported by the property owner to the marina office.
