Tidelands Automated Billing
Description
Removed from Work Plan 107 due to concerns about not being able to meet the 9/30/2020 deadline. There will an increase in License Renewals starting in 2021, the number will triple from Tidelands current volume. Each renewal requires issuing 10 years’ worth of fees currently setup manually by staff. DRLP would like to automate part of this process leveraging current functionality built for Tidelands Renewal RSP service.
Project Justification
There would be significant FTE savings if the assessment process was automated. The inability to increase staff to meet the significant workload increase in starting in 2021 thru 2024 will have to be accomplished with technology.
