Medium and Heavy Duty Electric Vehicle Mapping
Description
This project is a mapping application that provides relevant information to decision makers and stake holders for the determination of how best to build out infrastructure to support the electrification of New Jersey’s medium and heavy duty fleet. Electrifying the medium and heavy duty fleet is a necessary strategy to achieve the Global warming response act goals.
Problem Statement
There are few sources of info that support inquiries and decisions about how we have supported and might still support electrification of NJ's medium and heavy-duty vehicle fleet.
Project Justification
There is already an internally used tool that program staff use to answer questions. It will not require much effort or cost to produce a version for public use, speeding up and improving decisions to apply for funding opportunities
