New Hire Online Portal
Description
Work on developing/piloting a new hire portal. As soon as employees receive a job offer, they will receive access to the company's online portal. Here is where they can access content that is designed to engage them immediately, like a friendly note from HR, their mgmt., first-day information, welcome letter, a glossary of the company's acronyms, mission statement, virtual employee handbook, a brief description of their program, job duties, an org chart with interactive information. This will also benefit HR through dashboards that could be built to organize and track tasks that need to be completed and managed electronically, such as W-4 or I-9, benefits, and payroll forms, etc. We can also start having new employees fill out new hire paperwork online, consider providing the answers to questions that they may have, such as where to go on the first day, who to ask for when they arrive, and what to wear, etc.
This is up and running with small tweaks. All new hires are directed to this now for their paperwork.
