WARN DEP Mobile App Web Modernization
Description
The NICUSA/Tyler Technologies underlying web platform needs to be upgraded affecting all applications built off of that platform. This is necessary to comply with NJOIT web requirements and the NJOIT Web Redesign Project.
Web Modernization Overview: OIT and NICUSA/Tyler Tech are joining together to work with designated Agencies to modernize their Applications Web Presence. The goal is to produce a standardized, more easily recognizable web presence throughout the Executive Branch. This effort will foster commonality through the use of fundamental design principles outlined by NJ OIT. Please Note: This initiative will not change any existing functionality to your service and the application workflow(s). The redesign exclusively applies to updating the existing design elements.
Tyler has completed the CSS development for the web redesign of the WARN DEP mobile application. The redesign consists of two components: creating both an Android and iOS version of the application.
The Android application’s CSS development in our UAT environment is now complete and ready for your review. DEP should have test access set up and will need to download the updated UAT beta version of the app from the App Store on your test devices. DEP may also need to opt in again to the Beta program if the Google account was previously opted out. If you need additional accounts added to beta, please provide the email address associated with the Google account.
Tyler has currently in the process of testing the iOS version and will notify you as soon as that is complete.
Additionally, Tyler would like to schedule a call with you all to discuss the redesign and preparations for UAT and deployment.
