Virtual Machines for CSRR
Description
CSRR developers currently have multiple desktops for development and testing applications and running background applications. In addition, CSRR maintains a bank of six desktops utilized for field staff accessing the FSE application on the GSN.
The use of Virtual desktops would allow CSRR to eliminate multiple desktops
Project Justification
DEP is working towards a single machine for all users. The use of Virtual desktop would allow for multiple testing environments for development. Allow the elimination of desktops that provides access to FSE. Background processes can run in a more stable environment with battery backup and closer proximity to network infrastructure.
