Resilient NJ: Local Planning for Climate Change (update)
Description
This project is an update and re-envisioning of the current Resilient NJ Local Planning for Climate Change Toolkit. The toolkit has been available for a few years now and based on user feedback and expansion of NJDEP’s climate resilience resources it has been determined by the Office of Climate Resilience that the UX and UI of the toolkit are in need of an update. We worked with our FEMA partners as part of the Bureau’s larger GAPs (Guidance Assistance Program) initiative to review and make recommendations for improving the site. This process resulted in a report containing suggested improvements. Currently there is no specific deadline set for this project as the magnitude of change has not been fully determined. There is a funding deadline of September 30, 2026. Ideally 6-9 months to complete this project would be desirable.
