To eliminate issues with remote access to NJEMS and provide access to all staff regardless of whether they are using a device connected to the GSN or not. Also will make NJEMS more resilient to power outages, etc.

Issues with NJEMS-GIS Functionality when accessing NJEMS through MyNJ. This is in Angela’s court to work Kurt and Jim’s gang to resolve
Current status : almost all functionality is now in place, with the only exception being the GIS map integration. GIS/CGI are working on this.
OIT is asking for additional information about NJEMS Modernization and if a SAR has been conducted on the project. This may delay implementation of the nearly functional MyNJ portal access to NJEMS
OIT Poral group submitted firewall rules on Monday 6/6/2022.
Testing in the JEMR (PreProd) environment has been completed and DEP, CGI, and OIT are currently implementing the required system changes to add NJEMS Production to the MyNJ Portal.
