Reminders for NJ State Park Status Application
Description
The deliverables of this project will be a script that creates the automated email, the automated email itself that is sent to superintendents, and the statuses being more accurate in the web application.
Project Justification
The SPFHS section utilizes ArcGIS online for an internal Park Status Map that provides park status in a GIS dashboard to provide information to management. A public version with limited details is also available to the public. Working with DoIT's Bureau of GIS, automation has been applied to the status map that prompts Superintendents and area managers to update their park status. This ensures that the data is current and provided the latest information to management and the public.

Heather Korski of the SPFHS AC Office has worked with Ed Apalinski and David Krady to enable the ability for the ArcGIS Online State Park Service Live Status Updates application to send reminders to Park Supts. on a daily basis to review / update their Park status. This is to keep the info updated and Live for both the internal version for managers and now the public version.
