Restructuring Remote Access Methods
Description
Rollout of zScaler ZPA to replace GoToMyPC and Citrix usage for remote access, as well as the potential eventual replacement of usage of the OIT VPN systems.
8/1/2022 - Bob Chojnacki retrieved a list of approx 900 users utilizing GoToMyPC and is contacting them at a rate of 30/week to migrate these users to zScaler
Problem Statement
Conversion of remote access methods from Citrix, GoToMyPC and VPN to zScaler to eliminate license costs for these other methods and improve reliability and functionality for remote work.
Project Justification
As DEP returns to work from COVID, and as equipment is replaced, fewer stationary desktops will be avaialble for remote control.

GoToMyPC has been fully retired and Citrix access is now limited to required external users (CEHA, CGI, etc.)
560/775 users went asked to migrate so far. 150 gotomypc accounts were removed.
