[C3 CMS] End User License Agreement (EULA) for C3 CMS
Description
Is there an End User License Agreement (EULA) for C3 CMS?
The EULA for the DW-ENC4K16 was converted into a Knowledge Base article (https://support.digital-watchdog.com/kb/article/1041-dw-compressor-dw-enc4k16-end-user-license-agreement/ ). David thinks it’s unnecessary, but Sungho believes it would be smart to have one. Would it make sense to do the same for C3 CMS / VMAX?

Not exactly - the contents are not an End User License Agreement (EULA). Instead, it is a compilation of open-source licenses and attributions for the software components used in the Smart Web Viewer and C3 CMS. Here's a breakdown of what it includes:
Licenses for Dependencies:
Qt (GNU Lesser General Public License v3)
Emscripten (MIT license and University of Illinois/NCSA Open Source License)
ffmpeg (GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or later)
Node.js (MIT license)
musl libc (MIT license)
License Texts:
The full text of the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.
The full text of the MIT license and the University of Illinois/NCSA Open Source License.
The full text of the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1.
Attributions:
Credits to the authors and projects whose code is used in the software.
What is an End User License Agreement (EULA)?
A EULA is a legal contract between the software developer/publisher and the end user. It typically outlines:
The rights of the user to install and use the software.
Restrictions on use (e.g., no reverse engineering, no redistribution).
Warranty disclaimers.
Liability limitations.
Governing law and dispute resolution.
Why This Document is Not a EULA:
It does not address the end user's rights or restrictions regarding the use of the "Smart Web Viewer" or C3 CMS application.
It focuses solely on the licenses and attributions for third-party open-source components used in the software.
It does not include terms like warranty disclaimers, liability limitations, or usage restrictions specific to the end user.
What You Might Be Looking For:
If you are seeking a EULA for the "Smart Web Viewer," or “C3 CMS” it would typically be a separate document provided by the developer or publisher of the application. This document would outline the terms under which you, as an end user, are allowed to use the software.
