As with most activities related to emergencies, debris management in the aftermath of events such as Superstorm Sandy has become a high priority.

Project Justification
DEP management has required that data on debris management be available quickly and efficiently. Temporary Debris Management Areas (TDMAs) are an important piece of this debris management strategy. Currently, DSHW and CE have been using Masterfile and NJEMS to track TDMAs and associated data with workaround using data fields not designed for TDMA data.
