I was recently assigned as the chairperson of the 1,4-dioxane interstate working group GIS sub-committee. The purpose of this sub-committee is both share 1,4-dioxane related GIS data in a secure environment amongst interdepartmental NJDEP Programs, other NJ state regulatory agencies, the Pennsylvania DEP, select NJ Water Companies and the Delaware Valley River Basin Commission. Therefore, we’d like to develop a private web mapping application in AGO that will allow the various parties access to all relevant GIS data in a secure environment. This will allow for ongoing discussions of data correlations, data gaps and provide an understanding of the various GIS datasets in a geospatial format.
