Given that the existing IS data sets are based on imagery captured in 2015, it is critical that these data sets are updated to reflect current conditions.

The purpose of this project is to generate new IS data sets for the state using high-resolution imagery collected in the spring of 2025. As urban development continues to increase across the state it becomes more important to monitor changes in the amounts and distribution of IS.
