Facility Submittal Service (FSS) for Release Prevention
Description
see attached IT Project Sheet
Project Justification
The BRP utilizes OneDrive to receive submittals from facilities to meet the Department’s initiative of going paperless; however, this method is informal, inefficient, and temporary.
Documents submitted during engineers’ reviews are scattered across multiple platforms, including OneDrive, physical paper copies, and NJEMS. By using the FSS, the required documents will be submitted in an organized, comprehensive package, clearly indicating the required documents, and will expedite the Engineers’ strict 30-day administrative review. Implementing the FSS and SSA will centralize all review documents within NJEMS with ease, ensuring a streamlined and organized review process for the engineers and management.
