Dashboards: admin (global/space) and personal default views
Description
Two ready-made dashboard views composed from the gadget preset catalogue, so users get a useful default without configuring anything. Both reuse the existing chart types, filters and visibility model.
Admin dashboard — /overview
Global admins and space admins, in both global and space/project context, scoped to the space when opened there.
-
Key metrics: open approvals, resolved, median cycle time, on-time rate, deadline missed
-
Needs attention: expiring soon, expired, outdated (Confluence), blocked on configuration (Jira), instance errors
-
Charts: due within 7 days, open by age, load by approver, wait time by approver, created vs resolved, definition/outcome mix, cycle time by definition
Personal dashboard — /personal/overview
Every user, in both global and space/project context. Landing page for non-admins. In a space it takes the single Overview slot at the top of the sidebar for users who cannot see the admin one — previously a non-admin in a project had no dashboard at all.
-
Key metrics: awaiting your decision, due within 7 days, your open requests, approvals you decided
-
Your queue: the approvals list filtered to what awaits you, soonest deadline first, with the usual row actions on hover
-
Charts: my approvals by status, created vs resolved, queue by age
Shared behaviour
-
Date range selector, 30 days by default, kept in the URL. Live widgets ignore it and say so via a Live badge.
-
Per-user show/hide/reorder of widgets, stored per browser.
-
Every personal widget carries an explicit current-user filter, so the view stays personal for admins too, who otherwise resolve to global scope.
-
Each widget has a tooltip stating what it counts and what it excludes.
