Enable customers to receive notifications about upcoming and completed releases

Problem Statement

Customers currently lack visibility into planned application releases. This is particularly problematic for releases containing backward-incompatible changes, which can cause unexpected disruptions and block users from using the application effectively.

Solution Overview

Implement a comprehensive notification system that keeps customers informed about upcoming and completed releases through:

  • Public roadmap page in product documentation displaying categorized Work Items in simplified view

  • Subscription mechanism via External Share for Confluence allowing customers to opt-in for notifications

  • Comment-triggered notifications - both manual (admin-initiated) and automated (pipeline-triggered) notifications sent to subscribers when comments are added to the documentation page
